    Sound issue from diffs?

I suffered with the front diff, more precisely with the gap in the bulkhead. According to the manual, it is recommended to first install without shims, then to the side of the gear, then to the other. My diff goes left and right without the shims. If the washer is on the side of the gear, then...

What diff oil weight for speedruns? Tekno EB48

Hi guys, I think I need to change my diff oil for front center and rear. I bought my EB48 used and I think the oil is too light. I do a lot of speed runs, and it always wheelies, unloads the front tires and they balloon like crazy. Also, when I turn, the inside wheels balloon a lot too. Should...

Anybody ever blow out a inner bearing in diff case?

Got a battery charged up and went out front for a small bash session. Soon as I hit the throttle I heard a grinding sound, I come right back in the house. After some wiggling of this and that I noticed the input hear had a ton of play. Diff cup was fine so I tore into the case. I found the inner...

    Aluminum split center diff mount

Just installed the aluminum split center diff mount and noticed the bearing has alot of slop. I can move the diff back and forth toward the pinion. The plastic held the bearing tight. Hope it doesn't cause me to strip a spur. Anyone else notice this?

    Composite Diff Gears.

Anyone running composite diff gears in their 13.5 rigs? Tekno advertises 8.5 gram less per diff. That's significant especially considering that is rotating mass. 10 dollars a diff is fair. I really think this is my next purchase.

The .3 kit came with 5k for all of them but I have found that 7k, 5k, 3k, has been working best for a loose dirt track. What is working out there?

    Outer differential shims tip

Installing the differential in the housings with a shim on each side can be a bit of a challenge. The shims are thin and have nothing to keep them in place while you install the differential and it is easy to bend a shim or miss getting it in the housing if you're not careful. To make the...
