Having built my first kit - the Tekno EB48 2.0 - I decided to share my experiences and create a complete video series covering the entire build.

The aim of this video series is to help complete beginners, as well as those more experienced, build the EB48 2.0 from its kit form, to a complete rolling chassis! In fact, you won't even need the Tekno manual by following this video guide!
Other Tekno kits follow a similar pattern, so the videos could help with any Tekno Kit you are looking to build!

NOTE : I am not affiliated with Tekno in any way. All views expressed in these videos are my own.

If you like the videos, please do consider subscribing to my channel - it really does help me out - and you'll be informed when the next video is released too!!

So, on with our first video - an overview of the kit, and what you need to get started!

Kit Bag A : Centre Differential.

Kit Bag B - Front and Rear Differential.
Much of the same as the previous kit bag....

Wow, great videos so far! Love the attention to detail, you really went into every step.

I commented on you YouTube video, those upper wing mount screws should be 14mm, you have the 20mm installed though. Interestingly your audio for which screw to use is correct.

Thanks I'll check!!!

EDIT - Good spot! I had put the 14mm in the bottom and the 20 on top. Switched over now! lol

Build complete - in the next video we'll take a look at the chosen electronics layout etc......

Is this an emulsion setup in your video?

That’s correct. There is no bladder etc in the shock cap. For this vehicle that’s what is recommended.

I watched your videos on the eb48 2.0, would you say it’s pretty decent at just having some fun and bashing around? I’m getting ready to pull the trigger on one and debating on what electrics to go with and if it’s a good kit for bashing around. I have an et48 and an mt410, but have been eyeing the 48 2.0 like crazy!

It's a competition race buggy. With your Tekno fleet as it stands, I wouldn't bother.

I honestly just love the process of building the kits up and having a little fun with em after... I was also considering the rc8t3.2e or possibly the et410 with some 2.8’s for slightly more ground clearance

Don't blame you.

I have the eb48 2.0.

About to pull the trigger on the nb48 2.0 to give me something new to learn...Nitro engine tuning.

Buggies are great rigs. They need smoother terrain to shine, but bring a very sophisticated driving experience that won’t be the case with larger wheels rigs.
From smooth dirt to the street it is my favorite basher. It also is an awesome parking lot racer.

Always appreciate your input dude!! Right now I’m in between going with the 48 2.0 with some proline buggy badlands or an et410 build with some badland 2.8’s. I’m really considering the buggy just to add a different flavor to my line up and driving style. Would you say it does decent in grass and “bashing” per say?

I was also considering the typhon 6s over the Tekno eb48, but I can’t bring myself to missing out on the build process fun and the quality of Tekno :/
