So in my excitement finding a set of MT410 shocks on eBay last night I purchased a set of MT410 shocks for my sct410.3. Not 🤔 thinking about the shock towers. Can I just put MT410 shock towers on to make the longer shocks work on my sct410.
Would these work?:

I know there's been lots of threads on here about shocks I'm sorry in advance. Just looking for some advice on a Hasty purchase I made.

Thanks

It's not that simple because the MT has longer arms from the truggy so the longer shocks will account for the extended overall geometry.

I suspect you'll blow out the MT shocks if you install them on the SCT even with the MT towers :(

I would simply look up the shock part numbers from the install manuals, it’s been awhile but I think the sct used mt shocks in the rear. Again, quote the build manual. A lot of the cars share same parts, im pretty sure you would just have to get the shorter shocks that the sct uses up front. Don’t mess around with the shock towers because it will do you no good.
