What specific esc/motor combo did you get. There are multiple versions of this esc and motor KV. Maybe went to high on the motor KV? Might need to go down a couple teeth on the pinion? If a sensored version make sure the sensor wire connection is sound. Might need to go into the esc settings and reduce the punch and/or timing.
