I'm looking for something different and thinking about building the MT410 2.0. It looks to be about the same size as a traxxas stampede or an arrma granite, which I am ok with. I enjoyed building the original MT410, some some of the obvious flaws made it less enjoyable for me (crappy shock towers, crappy body Mounts, and the need for M2C parts). How do the new towers/braces hold up?

I’m currently building, I’m mounting electronics today I hope

The mt410 Facebook group is going strong

I’m installing the HW 140amp with 3665sd 2400kv system

I have the original MT410, at ET410 2.0 and now the MT410 2.0. I use shorty 3s packs in the ET410 as a lightweight basher and found it to be my favorite RC, even over the MT410, as a backyard basher. However, I did manage to break something on it every few packs while the MT410 rarely broke. So the MT410 2.0 gives me a lighter more agile feel while also being more rugged. It's the best of both worlds, and now that I've put a castle mamba X / 3200kv setup in there and am running on 4s it's also a 55mph triple-backflipping beast with amazing air control.

The only issue I've had on the 2.0 so far is rear dogbones popping out, but that appears to be because I had too much droop and too little negative camber in my initial suspension setup.

I tried a couple other brands, but couldn't help but come back to Tekno... they just handle so much better and I really love building my own kits over RTRs or rollers (though I wouldn't mind an ET48 2.0 to round out the stable and am looking for a roller/slider if anyone's sellin' :) )

Oh.. and regarding body mounts, I wish they offered a factory threaded system instead of body clips, but otherwise it seems fine. Improved over the original MT410, but not by miles.

Thanks for the write-up.
I'll have to keep my eyes on those driveshafts.
What 3S shorty do you have for your ET410?

The Gens Ace "Adventure" soft pack LiHV 3600mAh 3s shorty fits perfectly. There's also a 4300 that *almost* fits but is just a bit too thick for the stock battery set up, so stick w/ the 3600 if you want it to fit the stock battery setup.
