Hi, forum I need help? At what amps can I charge my Graphene 6s lipo.
I have the HTRC charger 150watts. Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

Depends on the capacity of the pack. If it's a 6s 3000mah pack, charging at 3 amps is 1C. Charging at 6 amps is 2C. A 5000mah pack would be 5 amps 1C and 10 amps 2C. If your battery says it can charge at 2C then go ahead and do that but your charger might not be able to do it. It should max itself out though so it will just take a little longer.

Oh sorry it's a 6s 5000mah 45c graphene lipo.

That charger is 75 watts per channel and can be adjusted to a 120-30 split you will get about 4 amps if that to charge a 6S battery how do I know I got one and there amp ratings are way off if you’re going to be charging 6S exclusively time to upgrade chargers. Takes about an hour an a half to charge 5000 mah 6S at that rate.

Ok so what's the best charger to get for charging a 6s lipo faster and at a better charge rating?

@Alan0823 I had the same question last year. My thread may be helpful. Note that I ended up building my own power supply out of old server power supplies. It was not too difficult. Soldering was the hardest part in my opinion and if you can build a RC Kit then you can take on this project.

I love the results and I can charge at 20+ amps no problem. The key is what your batteries can handle. Mine can handle up to 25 amps. They are 5000mah and 5c max.

Unless I have to or want to charge quickly I usually charge a .75C or .5C of the rated battery. I read somewhere that would make it last longer. Does anyone have any experience with making batteries last longer by charging at less than specified on the battery?

I got a better battery charger now same as shown in the upper picture. 👍
