Finished installing the drive shafts were replaced with M2C shafts. Hubs were cleaned and greased. That's enough for today. It is taking twice as long to build due to cleaning parts and fitting them

I'm somewhat in the same mindset, where I want to find a MT410 V1 as well.

But I already have one that I built six years ago. Added a ton o' stuff and upgrades and let it sit. Recently moved to a area where there are more options for using it, so it's getting dusted off and readied for use. That one is set up for road use however.

I have a lot of parts. Diffs, aluminum bulkheads and plenty of other items. I'll build a basher at one point or another, but I know that OG MT410s are populating closets and will be available when their owners determine the best avenue is to sell. There are probably a few more years of that.

Good luck with your build, solaris!

Fitted the m2c goodies. I also replaced the steering assembly 90% new parts was missing an oring and bearings were worn. New servosaver as well

Thank you very much looking forward to running it. Glad to hear you are dusting yours off for use again enjoy the bashing.

Very nice indeed! What sort of weight is this tank now?
The weight is 3.7kg for reference my mt410 2.0 10th scale weighs 2.9kg without a battery in it. Both weights are without wheels

My battery weighs 648g so both weights aren't too far off each other.

3.7kg No battery, no wheels?
I'll weigh again with no battery and no wheels
Mt410 og
3146g

Mt410 2.0 10th scale
2977g

Roughly about 200g between eachother as I don't have a shell on the original mt410
Don't have the shocks installed yet

Changed shock fluid and used the new revised shock mounts. They reduce wear with the shock cap.
