Found an MT410 on eBay probably overpaid for it but it was calling to me lol. Seems to have sat for a long time as some of the screws have rusted and it's dirty. Makes for a fun resto project.

New shock boots

Replace screws and bearings ordered from Germany

Upgrades awaiting parts:

M2C Steering plate
M2C Chassis Brace
M2C Out drives
ARMA Battery Tray it's listed under Tekno no idea if it's fits?
All racing aluminium gear box front and rear
Oktays Front bumper and wheelie bar

I wanted one of the OG MT410's, but they discontinued it before I could get one. This looks like it's going to be transformed into something really cool.

Just a quick update the motor came today castle 1520-1650kv, hefty beast in comparison to what I have in my 2.0 mt410. It was a combo pack so came with the mamba 8s esc

More updates to come have all the parts now apart from a body shell

Started to dismantle the car. Front end has been removed and starting dismantle the rear the end. All I can say this car is an absolute state my hands were black.
Looks like I will be building this again from scratch lol.

Might order some new hinge pins as they are rusted or ill clean it with a wire wheel as it appears to be just surface rust.

Getting ready to build the diffs using the steel differentials should be bomb proof I hope. Also got the upgraded steel spur gear.

Uhh... What exactly did you buy the original truck for? Looks like you'll take two and a half parts off it for the build, LOL

Yes it would seem that way considering i have bought a lot of parts for it.

Some of the little parts can run up a pretty penny, just buying a pack of o-rings is like £5. If i don't clean up the hinge pins it will cost me £20 to replace them, so overall it adds up to quite a lot so must still be cheaper this way.

Couldn't get the bottom cog out of the diff so used a Dremel to cut it open to remove

Diff has been mounted in gearbox only required 1 shim which was out inside the cog wheel side. Mounted M2C shock tower as well.

Cleaned up hinge pins using a Dremel with a wire wheel. They arms now move freely compared to being stiff. I had also cleaned up the holes for the arms where the hingepin mount

Arms and sway bar installed. Cleaned the arms using muc off and some warm water and a toothbrush cleaned up nicely
