Cool build, I have thought of going to TpPower route may times but never went through with it 😉
Those slow rolling backflips in your vid are sick..!!🤟🏼

These are the front and rear shock towers from mitch, no more bends. check out their thickness on pic, really awesome. (https://m2cracing.net/cars-and-truc...raton-outcast-notorious-rear-shock-tower.html)
Am thinking on getting a mamba monster x 33.6V with the 1717 motor for the mt410 (no more heat problems) and using the monster x 25.2v with the 1515 motor on the newly ordered and not yet received et48 2.0. But can't say for sure what am gonna do, the overheating on warm days is annoying me. thanks for help bro.
Those shock towers are very nice.

I’ve bent the rear when jumping without a body after a square-on landing to the rear. I want the go big kit to help stiffen the chassis more so.

The MMX 6s is a really good ESC when running the fan all of the time. You can do the fan mod I did above and run it off of the receiver. Very good mod. Only problem is with the added weight to the fan clip, it’ll sometimes fall off. A bit of shoe goo and zip ties around the ESC fix this.

Haha thanks man !

TPpower motors are very nice. I’m eager to test Cordova and Poseidon motors as well. The eBay (rocket/surpass hobby clones) are pretty good for the price too, although they tend to run hotter (less efficient).

Two Yeah Racing booster fans stopped working on me. No physical damage. They were both ran on 8V off of the receiver. They ran really slow and then stopped working.

I'm testing out this R1 Wurks fan. Feels like it blows more air than the YR booster fan. Hopefully it'll hold up over time.

The R1 fan didn't last a single pack. Plastic case fans are simply a no-go. I've been using these aluminum case protek fans for the motor with no issues so far. I put one on the ESC as well. Will test temps but it blows more air than the YR Booster Case fans at the same voltage.

Also installed a steel diff cup as temps on the center diff were above 130F and I wouldn't like to have a run cut short due to a melted center diff.

After bending the chassis twice—after square hits—I decided to install the M2C go big kit.

Comes packaged nicely

Fully installed using stainless steel hardware.

Went together great besides not being able to fit a 7mm socket in between the shock mounting locknut and the shock cap. Had to resort to a 7mm turnbuckle wrench, no biggie.

Because of the design of these proline crawler bodies I had to cutout a section of the bed to insert the body pins. The bodies started cracking really easily here despite lots of reinforcing. Opted for PL thumb washers.

nice

Still running this and I'm pretty happy with it. It takes an absolute beating. After a couple thousand standing bacfklips I've just wobbled a couple of driveshafts really. I shred a ring/pinion gear after an outdrive came loose but I wouldn't blame that on the truck.

Pulled a data log. Made 5.6 HP (4237 Watts) pulling 204A at 24.2V (6s). The math comes out to an efficiency rating of 85%.

I didn't run 6s for long. It was way too uncontrollable. Would be a good option with smaller tires and a higher gear ratio. I might test backflip LPs and 15/44 gearing on 6s for the same top speed as MX38s and 20/44 on 4s. It'd run cooler and I might be able to do all of the stunts I enjoy.

Also installed a TBR XV4 bumper since I drove straight into a fence with the basher bumper getting it caught and ripping it apart. This one is much nicer and provides better front end protection.

Haha thanks man! I crashed a few times too but I cut those clips out lol.

I straightened the chassis out using a couple of 2X4s, a bottle jack and another small piece of wood to distribute the load onto the chassis correctly. Put it all under a tow hitch. Took about 15 tries, I had to flex the chassis the other way a whole lot but finally got it perfect again. The aluminum is tough.

I added powerhobby fans, they just fit under the ESC Plate. I had to lift it with longer 40mm screws and a few extra spacers. I used a M3 spacer kit from Amazon to get it all setup right. The wiring

Temps dropped a whole lot. From 200 F to 120 F after a full pack. Ambient temps were a lot cooler today thoug

Here it is after said run. I also added badhorsie standard large shock covers and yellow springs.

The truck is almost perfect. I think 300k-400k in the center diff will be just right. I have the power limited to 75% right now since it’s way too hard to control at full throttle with max power enabled.

I also did the rear bulkhead bearing mod where the stock outer bearing gets replaced by a flanged boca bearing to help prevent the set screw coming loose when the small center driveshaft hits the diff cup. This helps save diff bearings, gears and the bulkhead. I also replaced the inner bearing and added 2.45mm worth of shims between the two bearings.
Farout man that's a serious rig you have set up for straightening your chassis, glad you were able to get it all back in alignment.

Been running this a good amount recently. Bent the front shock tower after some hard crashes. Installed the M2C front brace. Drilled the center hole out to 4mm and used an M4 nut and bolt to secure it better.

Also blew the boca bearings I used for the flanged bearing mod. Put the stock back in. Gear teeth look a bit worn.

De-anodized the TP motor end caps. Looks pretty good. I used Easy-Off oven cleaner. Soaked the parts for about 30-40 minutes then polished using mothers mag alu polish.

Tbone bumper was a bit flimsy. Stiffened it with a simple brace.

Fresh Ram Body. Added RPM body skids for the xmaxx, braces in the rear and bed area, Gorrilla Adhesize/Drywall tape and aerosol bedliner.

Wow, lots of cool mods/customizations there. Thanks for sharing. I'm down to 1 key part missing for my build.

Remade the TBR rear bumper using 3/16” Nylon 6/6. TBR uses 1/8” thick material for their bumpers. This thicker 3/16” bumper is a lot stiffer and should hold up better. Will do the front bumper at some point as well.

Also made the wheelie bar piece and the brace.

Greetings you, I am looking for exactly this solution for the TBR HeckBumper with WheelieBar, have ordered the TBR v3 WheelieBar for the MT410, but this is connected to the original HeckBumper of the Tekno according to the pictures on the website! I would like to have exactly your solution as seen in your photo, but so far can not find out how I can come to this WheelieBar as you use it!

EDIT:
sorry had not read to the end and only after I had posted read your last two posts because I was so happy to find someone who also uses this mod so!
Would it be possible to get the upper attachment to the shock tower from you, so that the rear original Tekno HeckBumper would not have to be used!
And how did you modify the wheels (bearings)?

Best regards
