Hey everyone, I just recently bought an ET48.3 and am currently in the middle of the build. I plan to keep this thread updated and report on any progress I have made.

Next step is electronics and power plant! Pics soon to come!

My plan is to mimmik RC OFF-ROAD DOWNUNDER's ET. I think it's one of the cleanest ones I have seen...simple but clean.

Check him out on YouTube!

I will be using Tactic TR-325 3-channel RX and Tactic TTX300 TX.

What is the can size of that Toro motor and where did you get it from? I'm planning for a lower KV motor for my MT410 for the future and look forward to hearing how this motor works out for you.

This is the motor I was debating upon getting in 1600KV for my MT410 if I make the complete switch to 6s.

When are you planning on having it finished and running it for the first time?

Edit: Lol I guess you answered this question while I was typing.

Lol yeah probably so. I edited it too to say that they have amazing shipping...they are awesome!

I was debating these two before I found this one. I went with the Toro because it has 8 poles and everything I've read said it's a great motor...like up there with Tekin good.

I went with 1950kv because I will be switching back and forth between 4S and 6S.

If you can fit a BLX185 in your MT410 then the Toro should fit fine. It's only 1mm longer I think and the OD is like 3mm or 4mm larger.

Yeah I am still undecided if I want to stay on 4s mostly or if I want to go more towards 6s. I have waaaaaayyyyy more 2s packs and not many 3s packs. So for now the stock BLX185 will most likely work well for me but we will see if I want more power or not.

I'm kinda in the same boat more 2s packs than 3s packs.

Also, I meant to say that if you CAN fit a BLX185 in your MT410 then this Toro will fit as well.

Ive had my eye on that tekno for quite a while. Gonna take time before I can afford it!

I hear ya. I went with Towers Easy Pay option. They changed it to 3 months versus the 2 it was before and all I had to do was ask! Tower is by far the best online RC retailer.

Do these hold up pretty well on 6s?

From what I have read they hold up to anything you throw at them. Do a YouTube search for a guy named "Overkill" and watch the videos of the Cordova motor in his ET....absolutely ludicrous!
