i purchased an mt410 second hand it has lots of m2c goodies and i feel is far too heavy for the stock suspension.
What would you guys recommend i do to the suspension in order to stiffen it up a bit? SPrings? Fluid? both?

Both is usually the answer. You have to increase spring stiffness to hold the weight and then you have to use thicker oil to prevent it from turning into a pogo stick!

If shock spring collar adjustment doesn't allow you to get your desired ride height, then, yeah, get harder/softer springs. I don't know how you like things, but I always strive for "bones-level" ride height on my RCs being ran on very rough terrain. This way it gives my RCs equal, or close to equal, shock travel in both directions, then fine tune later. Change the pistons, and shock oil to your desired pack and damping effect that you like.
