Good luck this weekend Fellas

Started this morning before work and finished late after work. Full overhaul for tomorrow’s trophy race. Changed bearings and fluids in all 3 diffs, changed motor bearings, serviced the drive axles, changed shock oil, and made a few minor set up changes hoping to acheive a little tighter steering response. Also lightened the shock oil a little for the same reason. Wish me luck, it ain’t gonna be the truck’s fault tomorrow.

My truck has been shutting down and did it again during qualifyers so that left me in the B Main for 4x4sct. Not sure why it’s shutting down early. I turned lvc and thermal protection off and it didn’t happen again. I had a great battle with a buddy running the Tekno team managers truck. I just barely squeaked a 1rst place finish to get the bump to the A main. Gained 2 positions for a 4th place finish in the A against some serious competition. My old Pro 2 did really well in 2wd sct and I finished 2nd in the A Main with that. It was an awesome day with a good race turn out.

I also got to run the 2nd round of qualifiers with Hemenway’s eb48.4. He just wanted me to try it out. I had never run a buggy before and it was a blast!

I’m saving nickels for the et410 for Christmas. Gonna race it at The Barn in NH this Winter.
