Other than the M2C wide chassis, is there any other upgraded chassis for the MT410?

The chassis ears on my stock chassis have worn away and I'm wanting to change upgrade the chassis but didn't want to go the M2C route as they are about £200 in the UK.

And is there any way of preventing the chassis ears from being worn away by the droop screws?

M2C racing makes some mushroom head style droop screws that should treat your chassis a little better. I don't know of anyone else that makes a chassis.

The droop screws, shown in the manual, are upside down.

I don't remember if this was an oversight or what, but if the MT410 was built per manual, then this could be a reason why you see more than average wear on the chassis tabs. The button head on the screw/droop screw (TKR1238) should go under the arms.

The MT was built that way because it used regular BH screws, not the specific droop screws that have a 2mm hex on the end. Adjusting droop is a lot harder when you have to compress the suspension to get to the screw head, not to mention it usually gets clogged with dirt. TKR1238 is more expensive and that's why it was omitted from the original MT kit. We have since decided that the extra cost is worth it and all kits since then have included TKR1238.
