Hi, forum im running a hobbywing 4274 motor with a 16t pinion, and my pinion keeps coming loose even though I thread locked it!. Is there anything I'm doing wrong or anyway I can stop this from happening?
Any suggestions is welcome and appreciated thank you ?

Clean all threads with solvent.
Check/flatten set screw ends
Use gel based not liquid thread lock. Go back and forth when screwing it in, to get lock all over
Pretty tight while holding driver tight for a bit, if that makes sense.
Also mix tube of kit thread lock. If it isn't liquid, toss liquid.

Skip any that's a problem.

Thank you for the advise I have the Gel loctite and thought of using it but tried the same one again. I'll do just that thank you very much I appreciate. I'll repost how it turns out after doing so.

I was having a similar issue until I finally let the thread lock cure for 2 days and haven’t had the issue since!

I had a similar issues in the past

I like to use a clean grub screw ( never had lock tight on it ) and run it threw the pinion to clean up the treads. Then clean your used grub screw the best you can. And always wait a minimum or 24 hours to let the lock tight set up.

I have had good luck with this method ?

Yes, I followed @nitro advice and everything all well so far. I ran it about and hour after cleaning the grub screw up and the pinion hole and used the gel loctite let it set for 48 hours. ?? thanks for the advice guys I appreciated it.
