I have completed my ET48.3 build and have made a custom ESC mount for it since the 4082 motor prevents the ESC from being mounted in the normal location. This mount is made of aluminium and plastic sandwich sign post sheet.
It mounts onto the three transponder screw points on the top of the receiver box and onto the brake/throttle servo mount on the opposite side of the chassis. The Max8 ESC is then screwed onto the plate using the threads that are on the bottom of the ESC.
I also cut two notches either side of the ESC in case I need to use a cable tie as well as screws to secure the ESC.
The receiver wire comes out the back of the receiver box which had to be trimmed to allow the cable to fit through. This makes the installation very neat.
