Body Reinforcement

I find the drywall/shoegoo is great for reinforcing and repairing. I’ve also been adding pieces of kydex sheets to bodies for extra strength ...it gets shoe gooed on first then bolted on. Here’s my current MT410 body. It’s extremely durable...been through hell. The whole bed is kydex, also some in front. Also kydex inside strips running the length of the sides(under the drywall shoe goo)

A closer look at the kydex bed.

This has been bulletproof

For Overkill durability I have many extra body posts . This way impacts are not just on 4.
And it’s a must to get some body support and posts more toward the center of the body

so really it is a body made from kydex with a touch of lexan. :ROFLMAO:

you could use flex seal, it makes it stiff and a nice black under coating, just make sure to get window masks off quick, nice grippy rubber

This is what I used on my SCT410.3 and it has worked out great.

I remember seeing this video I haven't tried it myself but looks like it would be a great way to make an super durable body. May be a little heavy but I bet i can handle quite a beating.

I think that every good method is heavy. At least all the ones that I've tried are.

I’ve been using 2-3 layers of aluminum tape and topped with gorilla tape. Been holding up well but it has not seen the punishment you MT410 guys throw at yours lol

These two around body post holes really saves the hole and the paint as well.

New experiment. Old trampoline material and E6000 glue. Wow this is going to be strong and flexible. Only did a few small sections earlier today.

Gorilla duct tape is all u need , I have it on all my rigs , getting tired of not breaking any bodies , makes it so I can't do new ones ???

I got a Russian indestructible body on my MT410, it's all black. They are pretty tough and pretty ugly too. For the 80 bucks it cost me, overall I'd say not worth it. Still looking for alternatives . . .

nico I like that a lot! ! ! did it fit or did you have to modify?
is this the one? here goes another 80 bucks, https://www.amainhobbies.com/prolin...0YvdG9gBMBRjTPjzk2hCcyaCTikEPrMBoCkYsQAvD_BwE
Yes, that’s the one.

There is a bit of trimming that is needed. Also, I used Arrma posts as they are stronger.

Front posts / no trimming:

90$ for a proline armor body is the way to go you won’t be disappointed

supper strong precut just add some decals or stickers for some added style

just ordered it from amain. am hoping it comes with stickers. I just gotta start landing on the wheels more often lol.
txs bro!

just got the Proline 3530-10 Precut Brute Bash armor body for E-revo for my mt410. The body fits fine but there's a square hole in the back. I gues this is normal for the revo. Any thought on what to do with the square opening in the back of the body?
