I am sort of stuck between 3 choices. The only RC car I've ever had was Granite Voltage, and while I like it, it's obviously an entry level RC.
I am not someone who is going to have a whole fleet of cars, or ever race them. I might not even jump them ever. I mainly like to be able to drive around, go fast from time to time, and not worry about it breaking. Main use case 90% of time will probably be in my backyard in grass, although I'm sure I'll take it out other places occasionally.
I am torn between the MT 410, the ET 48 2.0 and Arrma Kraton EXB.
MT 410 sounds awesome. But my fear is that it's small, which I view as a drawback. And I don't like how it's very wheelie/trick/flip oriented, when I don't really do that stuff. I view it if anything as a drawback because I want it to be more stable on the ground, rather than be more agile/mobile in the air, and in terms of doing wheelies(I'd rather the front end stay down more so I can go faster accel without popping up if anything). I've also seen that at higher speeds it pretty much just wobbles and crashes, which is concerning.
ET 48 2.0 sounds awesome. But it's expensive. And it seems like it really isn't designed as a basher, and at that price point, I'm not trying to change much, I'd just run it stock(except that one part you're supposed to change out per the manual). I'm not too knowledgeable about what exactly about it isn't designed for bashing, but that's concerning. I love the bigger size, quality, etc.
Arrma Kraton EXB sounds awesome. But my fear is that it'll break. Tenko seems more durable. Overall, the size, weight, etc of the EXB seems like the best fit, but I'm really buying this RC with the idea that I don't push it hard, so it should last with minimal repairs for quite a while. Plus, I miss out on the added benefit of learning everything about the car by putting it together top to bottom(plus I've read the EXB often come with problems).
Wondering if someone has some advice, or maybe even another model that might fit what I want.
What really would be perfect would be a Kraton EXB type car, but made by Tekno as a kit. But I'm pretty new to this, and am very open to other people's opinions.
