I am looking for suggestions. I have been out of RC for a few years. Whats the best you guys would suggest?

It all is silicone oil, the challenge is to find the cst # that you want. Different brands have different cst#. Figure Tekno has a lot more knowledge on what weight to use then I every will have, so I went with the cst# in the build Manuals. You will want a range of weights to try. The best I found was gulp! traxxas assortment in there base. Makes a nice clean and easy to use package of oils.

I bought a used viscometer and have been mixing my own fluids for a few years now, I buy my fluid by the gallon from Clearco and use this tool here to get me in the ballpark and make final adjustments with the viscometer:

If I was to buy aftermarket oil I would go with 6MIK because they offer larger bottles giving more value (roughly 30% more product for the same price on AMain), but the catch is you need to get a sponsorship through Dialed Hobbies to get a good deal:

Associated and Flash Point. There have been times in the recent past where it was whatever you could find in stock.

I've been buying Losi, preferably in 4oz bottles when available, it's relatively cheap..I'm no racer though.

Thank you all for your input. Its greatly appreciated!

I’m using flashpoint and I order from woodland hobbies, gets to my house in two days. Look for their coupon codes on their website. As a note the protek shock oil bag fits the flashpoint bottles perfectly

Team Associated, but have been switching over to:

Ain't that the truth. I'll never tell my Losi diehard buddy that I used, as he calls it "the good stuff", Losi shock oil in my Associated, and Tekno RCs.😝
