Thick grass is brutal on electronics. The only thing I kind of attempt at running in/on grass is a 1/8 scale truggy with wider tires. Even with large motor; 6S power; monster truck tires to help keep truggy "afloat", the strain on everything is great. Finding appropriate off-road terrain to run off-road RCs on means everything.
