EB48 2.1 shorty vs regular length battery?

I building a 2.1 strictly for racing. Running Hobbywing XR8 Plus w/ 1900kv combo. I'm getting a Gens Ace Redline 4s 6000, which comes in both sizes. Any thoughts, preferences?

I went Protek shorties and love the weight in the front. Tried the rear position and lost a lot of steering. I have also seen a few cars that moved the ESC behind the battery for more balance. Let me know what you go with!
