Hello Team. Besides the stock bumpers that come with the kit, are there any compatible bumpers for bashing such as the one the comes with the MT48 or other brands?

I have an ET48 2.2 in my cart among other items I'm trying to finalize :)

there was this post for the 2.0 that has some options:

If you have a 3d printer you can make one from TPU & PC material. I made some custom stuff for my sct410 (the honeycomb TPU white part is pretty durable). The ET48 has a few mounting points on the chaise, A block, and shock towers to base support around (depending what you are after for bashing)

@headsmell

Nice looking ET you have there and thanks for sharing.

I don't think I have the proper tapping tools or skills for that modification lol.

Happen to know if the following parts will fit on the ET48.2.2?

Trying to complete my purchase with Amain as I was provided a 20% discount code :)

Not sure, just give tekno a call. Possibly, as teknos website says TKR9660 works with the MT48 aswell

Ok thanks. Sent them a quick email inquiry. I'll report back when I hear from them.

The MT410/MT48 bumpers bolt up to the ET48 no problem. You'll want to use the longer screws that the MT calls for though. I think it's M4x25 in place of the M4x20 and M4x20 in place of the M4x15. I also suggest putting the thin steel skidplates we sell on there too. By running the steel skids (chassis, plastic skid/bumper, then steel skid) you will increase the life the plastic skid/bumper and the steel skid prevent the screws from going too far into the plastic and deforming the holes.

Thanks for chiming in, Matthew! My new kit is arriving on Monday to include the Tekno front and rear steel skid plates. In addition to the bumper assemblies I mentioned above, will the wheelie bar fit as well with no problem? I plan to run 6s on the ET48 and 18t pinion at my own risk lol.

Mind sharing the tekno part #'s for the hardware or the longer screws that I need to order please?

The wheelie bar shouldn't be a problem. I think the only interference between MT and ET parts are the wing mount and the tower/bulkhead brace. I haven't put the various pieces together in a while so I can't be sure offhand.
Here's a pick of the MT48 manual with the screw part numbers.
