Bad setup? No control..

I just finished my Sct410.3 and took it out for a test run. The only place I could find near me was loose gravel hard pack dirt conditions and let’s just say I was surprisingly disappointed with my truck. Every time I pulled the throttle it would spin out.

I couldn’t even go in straight line with out it veering off or spinning out. It was like it was skating in ice. I decided to run my 2wd slash vxl in the same conditions and that thing hooked up 100 times better. I’m hoping it’s just my poor tire selection. I was running the proline calibers. This is my first build so I’m new to it. I’m hoping maybe someone could give me some pointers to try out. Thanks

There's definitely something wrong if a 2WD is handling better... please fill out a setup sheet so we know exactly what you have and then maybe we can make some suggestions from there:

I have a couple setups posted here where my low grip setup would drift very nicely where balance is key to get your truck to drift in the corners:

• BUILD/REVIEW TEKNO SCT410.3

BTW your tire selection looks good so long as you went with super soft compound... if you're running soft or medium compound then that could be a problem, regardless, the truck should be able to drift no matter how horrible the tire is performing.

Yeah I’m stumped and hoping I can get this figured out soon. I also turned the punch on my esc down to 3. I’m sure it’s in my setup somewhere though. I’m pretty green to setting something like this up. Setup sheet below. Appreciate the help.

Update. Added -2 camber to all 4 corners. 1 degree toe out. And set my throttle expo to -30 and it seems to be hooking up way better. Just waiting for some different tires to show up for the conditions I’m testing in. Already feels like a different truck with these changes
