Well a friend of mine has been hassling me to get a MT410 for a while now, I hate swb trucks(except for my Jimny(Suzuki Sierra), and now I don't hate them anymore!

I have been bashing this thing as much as I can over the last two weeks and I'm hooked.

Here is a few photos of the different things I've been trying out with it...

The paint job on the Chevy is a little rougher than I'd like but I was trying out some new pressure pack paint, they expel a lot more paint than the Tamiya ones. I got a few runs just trying to regulate the amount I was laying down.

I am going to drywall tape and shoe goo the body and I forget that when I masked the windows, oh well. Can't wait to bash this thing now it looks so good(except for the dodgy painting)!

Lookin good!! Definitely a fun truck. What are you using for power?

Unfortunately just a blx185 combo from an Arrma 6s.

I thought that I'd be able to fit a Mamba Monster X8s in it without modding it too much, but I can't.

I'm not really sure now what I want to use, I am going to keep this truck as light as I can, so I think a Max 8 or 6s mamba system might be the go?

What are you using in yours?

Mamba X, 1515 2200KV, 4S, 15T Plenty fast for the size truck I think. I've thought about trying 6S but seen others do it and go back to 4S because it's too much. I don't think I have batteries that would fit so I would have to buy something just to try it out. Or do I?? Checking my 3S packs now..

Great advice, cheers mate!

Mamba X, 1515 2200KV is what I originally installed in my mt410. Good unit but not enough for my heavy basher, kept overheating unless it was 50 outside. Had to relocate the esc on top of the center diff. There's a thread here about it. After installing the mamba monster 8xs (I still run it on 4s) with a 1520 1650KV the over heating dissapeared. Got this info on this web site should gone from the get go. Just thought I share my 0 months of frustration trying to cool the 1515 with no luck.

Interesting, I run the same combo in my ET48 2.0, but I don't want to relocate anything in my mt410, I've ordered a monster x and I'll be running sensorless for now, the blx185 has been going OK, I just don't like the way it responds. If I get stuck I've got a second mmx8s esc I can use and run a 1520 down the track. Thank you for the great advice, I appreciate it very much.
