Or even a tag with another thread if this is a repeat would be apreciated.

Are you having temp issues on the motor?
What size motor is it?

It's a tekin hdpro550 2500kv. I havent to even got to build yet..after the disaster I had with my last car I just want to make sure im g2g..I have a 15 tooth pinion and the rx8 gen 3..gonna runs gens ace 3s 100c

I know of solutions that work very good but don't look good.

40mm server fan attached with zip ties around the motor and that's it. It has enough flow on 6-7.4V BEC voltage, or it can be run directly on 3s for even more...

Alright found they make a fan mount that fits..here's the whole set up before the build..forgot about the proline c10 hard shell body though..that's of to the side

That motor is the perfect kv range and size IMO for using 3S. It's one of the motors I looked at for my similar 2.0 platform build. Depending on driving style, run time, and tires, you may or may not need a motor fan. I get it though... you just want to be ready for anything. Lots of clamping style fan mounts out there for the picking.
