G'day.
What combo out of these two should I run in my ET48 2.2?
Any help very much appreciated.

The later. The Tekin shown above is a 4274 (42mm x 74mm length) motor size, that’s what you want for a Truggy (ET48).

The Hobbywing above is a buggy (EB48) motor, smaller 4268 (42mm diameter x 68mm length) can.

I’m sure HW has a truggy version of its combo too, but it’s not the one presented in your post.

Is it this one for the truggy?

I have been racing competitively for about 15 years now and the majority of racers I see tend to gravitate toward HobbyWing being known for the most durable brand on the market today. Some racers will run a Tekin motor with HobbyWing ESC because they feel Tekin motors are a pinch more powerful but it's fairly common to see Tekin ESC's fail sooner than HobbyWing.

Regardless of the brand of ESC you decide to get, be sure to install a landing pad under the ESC if you want to increase the lifespan of your ESC!

Sidenote, Tekin offers a military discount so be sure to send them a copy of your DD-214 if you are a veteran!
