Im in 2025 now and has been about 3 or 4 since years I built my mt410 100% stock out of the box. I am now getting back in the mood of RC and would like to know if there are still essental upgrades that are available. There used to be all meatal diffs and other parts that I cant seem to find easily anymore. Most parts that used to be hot back in the day are no longer available. Does anyone have good connections for hop up parts. Also I have a X1C printer if anyone made some useful files to print. Also how interchageable are parts from the 410.3 to the 410 2.0
Also is chasis swap really worth it.
No specific use other than fun but I am a born mechanic so I like fiddling

Hi, I was lucky enough to pickup NOS MT410.3 with an idea to build it at a later date. In light of it being discontinued i thought i better buy the upgrades while i can, stockpiling....

M2C still have upgrades, towers, beefcake kit ect..

For Allracing, T-Power ect, Aliexpress is place. These sellers have got bits to me in the UK quickly without any issues:

Rc Crawler Car Store
SULE RC Store
Model Enthusiast Depot Store

Some people seem wary of Aliexpress, but if it doesn't arrive you get your money back, something's wrong you get your money back. Very similar to Ebay or Amazon, if you know what your looking for it should be fine.

As RCFinger mentioned, M2C still lists parts for the MT410 V1 as available. I recall there was a chassis reinforcement package listed as 'Go Big' or something to that effect that I didn't see as available, but a number of the components from it were.

The aluminum bulkheads appear to be available on eBay. Not exactly cheap, but they're not quite 25% more than I bought them six years ago. Considering buying another set myself.

Building an out of production RC vehicle will present challenges, and it's basically a race to find what you need within the period of time where you can still find the upgrade parts you want. They tend to get more expensive as their availability fades. Get them while you can.

Its been a while, but a few years ago I found some files on thingy to print mudguards, and center diff and pinion covers that worked out really nice. There were also files on thingy for skid strips or body savers. Back then I printed them in polymaker PLA tough (they havent broken yet) because I only had an ender but the X1C is enclosed and has a filter so you can use filament better suited for the job now. I am not sure if those are the files I used, these were just from a quick search for Tekno

Come to think of it, I also printed a holder for the switch for a castle esc.
