Poppy and I have two mt410s and are having bearings blow apart every were. In the hubs, center diff and front diff. Just bought a pack of Fast Eddies to replace the last couple that blew last week, have had good luck with them in Arrmas. Also mine has never seen water. Is this something these rigs are prone too?

If you take the time to clean your rig after every run (not saying you don't) they actually last quite some time in my experience. I also don't run 6s though and stick with 4s only. How long are your run times when you are out bashing?

Are you using sealed bearings?

Mine has only been out 4 times since its build and not that dirty. Only ran 6s once on first run, 4s hadn’t came in. Using bearings from the build. So do you break down your rig after each run to clean your bearings? Do you take apart gear boxes hubs and such?

I have heard some people not liking the stock bearings. I use them until they wear out. Then switch over to Avid usually.

As far as tearing the rig down, no I don't take the thing apart every time but I clean with an air compressor and sometimes with simple green and then the air compressor. Sometimes I use a small toothbrush if needed as well. I observe all the bearings and make sure they don't have any accumulation of dirt or grime and rotate them to feel for any grit. I do take the diffs out maybe once a month and give them a thorough look over and make sure they still feel smooth by hand.

I have heard of some people getting bad bearings in their kit in the past, perhaps you got some poor luck with these recent kits?

Avids are holding up well ? I use an air compressor as well on my Arrma and knock off the rest with a soft dish brush. From my R/C experience the bearings are holding up as well as my Slash did. I replaced the Slash bearings with Fast Eddies and had no more problems. Thanks for the info. I haven’t been using any cleaner. Worried about removing any lubricants.

Avids hold very well for me. Fast Eddie's are have worked out for me as well. Yeah your concern is probably a good one, you don't want to blast the cleaner directly into the bearings but some on the surface doesn't seemed to affect anything. I am running bearings that are sealed on one side, thats the side that faces the elements.

I also use Avids on all my rigs, they are good solid bearings. The only time I blew a Avid bearing out, it was my fault. Skipped a shim in the rear diff case assembly on a maintenance of the diff. Took 2 batteries before it was toast.
