Battery all charged up and ready to get a great run in. Walked out to the track; first pull of the trigger and the SL sped off to the first jump. A total of about three seconds and my highly anticipated first run of the day ended in failure. I thought I busted a turnbuckle during the landing as one wheel was going in opposite direction from the other side. I picked up the truck and walked back to house in disgust.

Damage was not as bad as I thought. Ball stud on Ackermann plate had just come undone...

So sometime between my servo install a month ago and now... the ball stud had worked its way loose. I guess I'll have to make a mental note to keep an eye on these ball studs from now on. Weird? Yes, it is, because in six years of ET410 usage, I've not even thought about checking these ball studs.

I would replace the plastic ackermann plate with an aluminum version. Ours is TKR6560, and Exoteks is EXO1821.
