who knew there were so many options? oil weight, shock pistons, spring rate? just send it! the 410.3 can take it.

Wished i knew the answer. I was hoping someone would have provided a knowledgeable and helpful answer for me to read also.

Well, I found a Tekno piston chart picture that mirrors the list on Amain's site...

There is a lot of different thoughts and theories when talking about "pack" in forums/threads. I like toying around with shock packages, and just wanted to know where the stock SCT410.3 pistons fit in between other pistons. It all comes down to testing for what works for a particular RC, but I am the type of person who likes visual aids to work off of (if you know what I mean).

I wanted some 8 x 1.4mm pistons, but I see Tekno's are discontinued. I went diggin', and found some Associated 8x 1.3mm shock pistons left over from my eBuggy. I guess that's what I got them for... I only ever had the RC8.2eFT that use 16mm shocks.

I had to drill out the center hole of the Associated pistons by about 1/2mm for them to fit on the SCT410.3's shock shafts. The pistons are a perfect fit. Seem to be anyway. Time will tell.
