My Second Tekno Kit : MT48 2.0

Greetings Team Tekno! I just wanted to share my Journey with my second Tekno kit, having the NB48 2.2 completed last year. Coming back to the hobby after a 15 year hiatus, I built a Team Associated RC8B4.1 Nitro prior to the NB48. Also purchased a Cobra RTR Truggy to Trash

For the record, my dream RC growing up was a Tamiya Hotshot and always drooled over a Team Associated RC10. All I can do at the time was day dream about them...

Fast forward to today, I just received the MT48 2.0. Also incoming are the following (I apologize for the incorrect naming conventions as I am still new to all this):

Pro-Line Ford Raptor Body
Pro-Line Trenchers LP 3.8 wheels and tires
Castle Creations Cobra + limited edition 2200kv gold motor
Tekno 15t and 17t pinions
Tekno Aluminum Chassis Brace
Tekno Steel Diff Pins
Tekno Hardened stell spur gear
Savox 2292 and EcoPower 250T (still trying to decide what to use)
Tekno Shock Pistons Blank with 16 dimples and Shock steel washers
Tekno Aluminum Hinge Blocks Full set and all the parts needed
Gens Ace Redline 2.0 4s Lipo
Tekno Aluminum Servo Horn
Tekno ET48 2.2 Sway Bar Set front and Rear
Tekno Aluminum Shock Caps
Sanwa RX-493i (for my Sanwa M17)
Protek 40mm Cooling Fan and Exotec Fan Mount

My fear now that the MT48 will be a shelf queen lol. I haven't opened the box yet and I'm already thinking of what Tekno to purchase next

I haven't even opened the box yet, and thinking of what 6s battery to purchase.

I know max length is 140mm but can't seem to find a battery preferably with 5mm bullets.

Have an idea what our options are for a single 6s battery?

I looked as well and gave up. I don't know that you'll find a 6S battery with inboard bullets.

Probably my favorite part of the build..

Center differential completed here.

All three done… Dipping the bottles in boiling water really helps when filling thick oil onto the diff. Note that the upgraded metal spur gear and cross pins are installed. Had to shim the front as gears were grinding a bit.

Decided to go with the No Superior Designs RC RS1 Servo. 1200oz of torque Should be received soon... First choice was a Savox 3290SG though.

Surprisingly, aluminum is lighter than the stock plastic block..

Well, there is steel inside the stock ABCD blocks... a little bit anyway
Should've just made the whole thing steel.

Thank you. Just watched a few videos here and there. Difficult part is making sure the part fits on the MT. Basically the sway bars among other parts from the ET48 2.2 will fit.

I live in the SF Area. I don’t think there are any tracks around so probably just bash it. I haven’t even broken in the AD3 on the NB48 2.2. I need to run that buggy soon haha.
