Hello, do you think that Tekno will release a MT48 ?
I want to buy a 1/8 MT, if there is a chance that Tekno make one, i prefer to wait, but if there is no chance, i'll go to try the new KKpit MT.

Thank you.

For those that were a bit upset when the MT410 2.0 came out, and chimed in... was it enough to get Tekno's design team into thinking about a "MT48"? There is always a chance for everything. If you have not heard any inside scoop rumors, then I'd say something is not "just around the corner".

👍 Thank you.

One thing I really like about tekno is that I have never had buyer's remorse. There are definitely other brands which fix a bunch of problems and maybe even offer more value for money in a subsequent release. And if you buy the old version just before that it is sort of painful. I must have at least half a dozen tekno vehicles and I've never felt that kind of buyer's remorse. They just do such an amazing job of supporting their platforms. Heck, sometimes some of the old platforms even become more desirable just because people loved a particular design. I am not saying they go up in price, that's obviously a fantasy but they certainly remain durable and viable and enjoyable platforms for many many years

Yes, i like Tekno, i have three (MT410, SCT410.3, ET48 2.0). And i think the new MT410 2.0 is great, but i don't like the size, that's why i'll hope for a 1/8.

I'm pretty sure a person could make their own custom "MT48 2.0" out of EB/ET parts. But, man, buying those parts separately is a big leap unless a person already has an ET48 to "shorten".

I almost bought KKPIT's K1-SCE, but Tekno's SCT410SL changed the direction for me. KKPIT seems like top notch stuff. Is the MT based off of the Golden Beetle? Do you have a link for the truck?

The MT is a completly new chassis, made for stunt. You can use a cage or a classic body.
All parts seem very strong, and alu is 7075.

Got so upset with tekno I did just that. The Mt410 2.1 or Mt48 2.0 in complete.

I started with an EB48 2.0. That is what I had sitting around. This requires et48 2.0 arms, ABC and D blocks, shocks, swaybars, camber and toe links. MT410 2.0 bumpers, skids, shock towers, tower braces. Sct 410 2.0 body posts and mounts.
Buggy diff are geared quite high and I'm running a 14 tooth pinion on my 2200kv motor.

👍 Thank you. Good job !

Did you also need to use the ET48 CVAs?

This truck is awesome and is now a part of the family. Tirs have changed and body has been well used. Still nothing broken.
