48 2.0 Dead chassis???

This actually concerns a MT48 with no center brace. The chassis is straight but I think it might be dead. My question is with your EB48 (a truck of similar size with no center brace) can you flex the chassis with your hands by squeezing and pulling on the shock towers? When I do this with my MT it noticeably flexes and the front brace makes a creaking sound. Is this just how a buggy braced chassis is or has my chassis turned spongy?

Do you have a picture or video of the flex? I have a MT48 2.0. I can take the center brace off and see how much flex I have so you have a good comparison.
