Best set up for et48 2.0 Astro turf track?

Hey everyone.

Looking for advice for high grip Astro turf track. 1/8 truggy.

Current setup is a tekin rx8 gen 3, 2000 kv motor 17 tooth pinion. I’m currently running anNB4+ in my ET48 2.0. The following I have done to my truggy :

20/15/10 k diffs F C R

-Orange springs up front, yellow on rear

-shocks mounted inside hole on towers, outside hole on arms

- raised roll center links 1 notch above stock on towers ( very top hole)

-stock shock fluid cst as per manual

-2.7mm front roll bar 3.0 mm rear

- set ride height to about have the arms as a flat level line

- shumacher spiral tire

- turned in droop screws a bit to limit some arm movement and compressed the shocks a bit to be more firm.

I feel i could benifit from some more on power steering to he able to hit the throttle a bit more in corners. Tell ne if im wrong!

I of course know the best mod that can be done is being a better driver! I run the 2.0 all my buddies run the et48 2.2, I’m usually in the running for 1sr or second in laptimes but I’d like to shave some time off of course. I also have all the links set to stock with a micromiter. Camber is about -2 all round

Also.. what’s the best way to keep turf string out of wheel bearings?? I switched to Amazon metal shielded and they seem to last longer.

Also would love to know if the 2.1 front end is a good upgrade for Astro turf

I've raced carpet but never on astro turf. Since it's physically impossible to spin out on carpet we run our diffs basher thick. We want to be as close to 4 wheel possi as possible for pulling the trucks out of the corners. After all there is no chance of spinning out. Back to, I don't know the traction of Astro turf.
