Hi all. Other than a cracked bumper support I'm not counting, I've got my first damage on my new MT410 2.0. The center driveshaft has a bend to it and is rubbing/wearing in the front plastic chassis brace. Anyone aware of any other options for a replacement center driveshaft? It's a super nicely finished, high quality piece, but seems very light weight for a basher. I'm not sure if debris, torque, or flex caused the bend. I'd guess debris, most likely.
Thanks

Did you have the optional center brace (TKR9586) installed when this happened? I think it can reduce the risk of flexing the chassis plate on hard landings.

I have a love of really really big air and have bent a lot of Tekno driveshafts, but never a center. I think it was just a fluke or a really bad landing. The Slash in the picture has a Tekno center driveshaft. I trash it weekly, the only thing straight on the entire truck is the center driveshaft.

I've taken is off a decent sized jump but nothing huge, and landing on grass. Did hit a cement block and crack the original bumper support, as well. I'm not complaining about the toughness, by any means. Just curious about others experience. I don't yet have the chassis brace installed. Can't decide between the Tekno one, and the aftermarket one with solid metal ends. Any input on chassis braces?

There's a first time for everything. I just got done pounding my Slash's center driveshaft straight so I can drive the truck tomorrow. It's still a little bent but it's not rubbing on anything. I got a new one on order. 13 years of driving Tekno's and only one bent center driveshaft, that's not bad.
