Anybody running Cayote electronics?

I recently won a Cayote Crest 8 ESC from rctalk.com. Has anyone tried one of these out? It seems quite similar to Hobbywing, but has more programming features that I don't know how to use. From mounting it my EB48SL it seems like pretty solid quality.

It's a MKS HBL550 servo. I have a few of these and they never disappoint.

I never thought anything of it. I thought it was normal.

I got the EB48SL to the track today running the Cayote Crest 8 paired with HW4300kv motor on 2s. All I can say is that it does the job and didn't catch fire. There are a lot of programming options that I won't be using. I honestly see no reason to switch to Cayote if you are already running quality electronics.

I have no doubt the servo is strong enough, it just seems the servo link is at a weird angle.
