Does anyone have a fix for this issue.?? There is a gap of about a 32nd of an inch, honestly.... less than a 32nd, on each side. Have l made an error in assembly.??

Normal. Rotate the spring to put the bone between coils if you want.

Normal.?? Really laedco.?? Wow. Spinning the spring doesn't give more clearance where as the bottom rung on the spring is a constant. l'm not a racer but l wonder how many racers accept this little issue. l'll find a way to fix it.

Out of my 3 Tekno’s I also have one spring that hits the driveshaft.
I don’t have a fix.
And I just run it like is but mine is on a rig I bout used and just thought something was a little bent
On all of my own builds I have never had this issue

Mav.... Thanks for your post. l'm not alone. l guess l'm going to run it as is. l run mostly on pavement. lt will bug me if l see wear on the driveshaft though. Kinda of strange to see it on a quality kit. And real easy to make a small engineering change right there.

Yeah, really. I race mine and the springs are close…as in your first post “ less than a 32d” and they don’t contact the bone.

definitely not an expert on Tekno as i just got my first one .I would try to add 2 washers to space the top shock mount out.

The washers on the top have no effect on the bottom of the shock. The bottom needs the washers but there's no space for them. Laedo says not an issue so l'm going to run it as is.
