New to ET410 and I have some questions

Hi, I bought ET410.2 from a friend,
I saw it don't have savor saver. Is there any problem with that?
Should we use servo arm with servo saver build in like we usually see in rock crowler?
I want to buy a new body. Does body come with sticker?
What do you think about buggy style body (Jconcepts S15)

Thanks, this is the first time I saw a rc car without servo saver so I a bit worry.

Modern servos have come a long way where servo savers tend to take away too much steering response making cars feel "lazy" in sweepers. Just make sure you invest in a high quality servo where the manual recommends anything higher than 200 oz/in.

Thanks, I have one spare Savox 1258TG, it's rated at 12kg, hopefully it can survive. If it died, I will switch to some thing around 20-30kg

I wouldn't waste your time with the Savox 1258, it won't hold up, start looking for a higher quality servo ASAP.

You'll want a solid aluminum case servo at a bare minimum. The OEM for the ECO Power servo I recommended above is JX and they have an older version that is pretty good if you want to save a few bucks:

@Lisa, I don't know what your plans are for your ET410.2 ride, but if any hard surfaces are to be encountered, an all-aluminum cased servo is not a bad idea. I personally don't run one on my ET410, but my mini truggy doesn't see extreme bashing either. I certainly think carpet, turf, and clay tracks put more harsh forces on things.

Maybe my lawn darting/cartwheeling mishaps on backyard dirt is the reasoning for my servo enduring the abuse? Maybe the plastic case is different/better composite than others?

Thankfully, a person can find lower budgeted servos to cover all kinds of wants and needs these days. If I were spending big $$$ on a servo, I'd probably take on a servo with lifetime gear replacement warranty.
