Im planning on running 1/8th scale electronics and changing the axles and hexes to run 1/8th scale wheels and tires. I know the monster X and 2200kv motor fit.
Has anyone converted theirs?.

I run my 410.3 on 4S and have had no need or desire to try changing hexes and axles.

I converted my mt410 2.0 to 17mm using the Tekno axles and hubs,(the same parts are used in the sct410 2.0) it’s expensive but I feel like it’s worth it, as I am only running 17mm wheels. The Tekno 17mm axle parts use a true 1/8th scale design pin to hold the hex on. and doesn’t rely on that tiny cross pin that the 12mm hexes do, cranking the wheel nut down pressing the hex into that pin heavily.
That said if you use the M2C racing 17mm hex conversion set, it works on the kit axles and can be taken off easily to switch back to 12mm wheels at wiil, and it’s cheap, like 60$. But the M2C set changes the width hex to hex as well,
I recommend going that route if you want to use some eighth scale buggy wheels on your short course.
