Get tighter turning out of my ET410.2?

ET410.2 with mostly stock setup. HW10Pro/4300kv motor.
Proline Positron truggy tires.

I have just about the same setup on my SCT410.3 and it just whips around the track which is a small-medium indoor clay. I just powerslide around corners just go. With the truggy I can't seem to produce the same effect. I know it's not going to turn like a buggy, but i want more. I don't really understand the effects of toe and bump steer.

Any suggestions on where to start with adjusting? I am also considering accepting it as it is and also adding a 2wd buggy to the linup as they seem to do better on the smaller tracks.

really hard to provide any advice without seeing a copy of your current setup sheet.

that being said, the following graphic is a great way to help prioritize which tuning adjustments to start first:

Unfortunately this graphic is designed for on-road cars so there's quite a bit of missing tuning options specific to off-road but it will help get you in the right ballpark for what you need.

Again, without seeing your current setup sheet, there could potentially be some really bad things you're doing to make the car way too conservative.

Here was my last setup on the ET410.1 that I ran and something to consider for a decent baseline setup for high grip:

*** Note that I would eventually ditch the SCT wheels and found that ST wheels performed the best and also switched to 0% Expo and have started using 1% Coast on the ESC

VRP no longer offers the LCG shock towers but these were a major game changer for high grip conditions!

I am running the positron stadium truck tires. As for set-up sheet, I am currently stock. I haven't changed any of the stock settings.

I would start with a posted setup from a driver running similar track conditions as you.

Chances are the stock settings are for low grip and if you're running in high grip then it's going to turn like a dump truck

Check out the "AI Mechanic" from So Dialed. I haven't play with it much, and my tuning needs are a bit different, as I tune my RCs for very rough/bumpy medium traction backyard track. The app did confirm my initial thoughts on some things to try first. Like I said, I had very little time with the app (two days), and it hasn't jumped into any roll-center changes yet.

The So Dialed site has a ton of great info on setup areas needed. A great one stop setup site that has pulled info from all over the web. I'll be curious to see how things evolve on the "AI Mechanic" app and people's usage of it.

The track is indoor clay. I plan on doing some driving around there tomorrow. Most of the people there run 2wd buggy. I'll ask around and see what some of the regulars have to say. I realoze that it's going to be different for every track.

I finally got the ET410.2 back to the track. Adjusting the camber and adding sauce to the tires really helped. I lowered the ride height to 19-20mm but I changed it back. Somehow I drive better and flip over less with a higher ride height. I think the next thing I'm going to do is put a lower kv motor. I have a hobbywing 4300kv in there now and it is way too much motor for my track.
