Hi All! I'm in the process of purchasing an ET48 2.2 for bashing purposes only, and plan to upgrade the parts. Mostly just to keep myself busy as part of the hobby :)

For starters, would the MT48 2.0 bumper assembly fit this truggy?

So far, M2C confirmed that the following would fit:

M2C 6996 TEKNO ET48 2.0 TRUGGY REAR CENTER BRACE

M2C 7000 TEKNO ET48 2.0 UPPER STEERING PLATE

M2C 6925 TEKNO ET48 2.0 / 2.2 SKID BRACE

Lastly, I would like to hear your opinion if you would rather go for the latest Kraton 8s EXB?

I may answer my own question but I may still have thirst for a larger basher since I don't have one :) Only thing stopping me is I want to build another quality kit and upgrade. Besides, I do not know anything about ARRMA and their builds...

Thank you in advance for your kind assistance.

That depends on what you call bashing. If heavy abuse is your definition of bashing then a Kraton or Sledge will serve you better. If raging about is your definition then an ET48 2.2 will handle much better. A Kraton is not a race truck and an ET48 is not a stunt truck. The best truck is the one that matches your application.

Well said, sir.

I can't wait to see what @ducatiti comes up with on his ET48 2.2. People always are saying, "You can't bash this and that." Truggies make the perfect "bashers"... even the mini ones 🤪 ;) 😆 Having said that... everybody's "bashing" terminology/thinking is different.

So true regarding ET48 not being a true basher. Not really a hardcore basher here but rather just want to look good doing it, on a kit that I built myself being familiar with :)

I have an ET48.3 that sits on a M2C Beefcake chassis plate. It corners like a slot car, it's a lot of fun to drive.
