Hi all, first post.

Coming over from a Losi Tenacity DB Pro and looking at the SCT410 2.0 as my next platform as I’ve wrecked the LOSI and getting parts is a nightmare.

I’d like to either re-use the db pro body if anyone’s managed to fit one to the sct410 2.0. Would be using the electronics from the LOSI.

Or use a truggy body like this one - where the body covers the front towers:

I’m in Singapore, so have to order everything from overseas, so before I commit would love some help with a few questions.

1. Which body is celt actually using in that thread? He mentions “Truggy body shortened 50mm” but doesn’t specify which one. From the photos it doesn’t look like the 1/8 ET48 body I’d assumed - anyone able to identify it from the pictures? I like that it covers the front shocks.

2. SCT410 2.0 chassis dimensions - to the sides of the plastic walls that are attached to the chassis (not the side bumpers). And tower to tower. Tekno doesn’t seem to publish this anywhere I can find. Anyone with a 2.0 willing to measure?

3. Which body posts on the rear are likely to fit? Pretty sure the MT410 ones would work on the front

4. Can I attach a wing to the 2.0? I can see a couple of options on the tekno site but it doesn’t explicitly state.

Not long into the hobby, so if anyone else has done conversions, any other tips for this will be greatly appreciated!

Good luck. I don't own these vehicles but i own a cousin, the Lasernut, which is a stretched db pro. It's my second worst RC purchase because it constantly breaks, steering rack falls apart and I've melted the wheels off twice because the bearings are undersized in the hubs. It's also the coolest looking RC i own and the hyrax tires on it are amazing. Post some pictures of your cars! Looks like half of my pictures won't upload...

Nice collection! My db pro is a box of parts at the moment.

I love the look of it too, and I could actually get it running again for around $200 of parts. However I recently rebuilt the diff from what I think were the last set of gears available after trawling every website that sold LOSI parts. So if I wear out/strip another one that’s it .

I think I could make the body fit on the sct210 2.0 but without one in my hands and dimensions not being published, it’s hard to say.

That's funny. I came to look into similar info for the 2.0.

The body used in celt's post is a et48.3 body, just cut a part of the rear off to size of the sct410.3.

I currently don't have those dimensions for you, but I too was intrigued in seeing what shock towers would be used for the 2.0 sct. I assume it'd be from the et48 2.0 but no idea.

You should be able to attach a wing to either one of those as they are truggy shock towers, not sure they'll mount up to the sct 2.0 towers.

I went with the MT410 2.0 instead. It was getting too tricky to guess what bodies would fit outside of SCT.

As it’s 90% the same as the sct I’ll figure out if the db pro body will fit (suspect it will with some surgery and a few printed parts). And then convert it later into an sct410, but will see how it goes 1st.

For anyone else looking I had emailed Tekno as well; they got back to me:

These are rough estimates/
- Wheelbase length 328-334mm
- Tower to tower length 330 mm
- Chassis width between the plastic sidewalls 142mm

I am also coming from a DB Pro to an SCT410 2.0! (Because Losi discontinued the kit and parts support at the same time, jerks.)

I will eventually try to figure out things with the DB pro body, although my wing mount is broken, so i'll have to get creative. Let me know what you figure out on the MT410!
