Rear arm slop

I am building my 2.2. After assembling the rear arms, the 2mm shim and 1mm shim leave some play in the hub/anrm assembly. Is this normal? Should I switch to two 2mm shims and tighten the slop? Thanks for any advice

Don't tighten up the slop. You want there to be a good amount of tolerance on all the moving parts.
