I finally gave my ET48 2.0 it's first run, if you can call it that, I get the car going on the back yard just to get some initial feelings about the set up and performance. I'm really happy with the build and I think it's going to be a lot of fun. Hoping to get to the track this weekend for a proper run.

this video is long and pretty boring, hope you enjoy it, haha.

Looking' good!!!!

The receiver box not being lined up straight on the chassis bugs me!! Just my OCD kicking in! lol

Yeah I don't know if you noticed the extra hole in the plastic on the servo/esc tray, but when I mounted it straight the sensor cable was too close to the box mounting hole and it was touching. The easiest solution was to skew it to get the extra clearance I needed. I also mounted the esc on an angle to get as much of it on the chassis as possible, I wanted to have as little overhang as possible.

Lookin good you should grab another one instead of wasting money on the talion v5
Yeah I'm not likely to get one now, this is going to be a basher unless I get back into racing again, I have to drive 2 hours to get to the track each time, so I can't practice and get there every week. The track is getting rebuilt so I am looking forward to a new layout and facilities, hopefully I'll get a run this weekend at the old track, but it's been raining so it might be called off.

If I could sort out a couple of things like the battery tray and esc mounting position I wouldn't even look back. I just have so many Arrma parts and know those cars inside out.

I've been trying to sell my M2C modded Kraton to fund a new car, the truggy is a frustrating design as it is brilliant to drive and setup, but the cost of everything is higher, we have to pay $130 AUD ($100 US) for a set of tyres, which we burn up in a day.

I love the way they handle and jump though.

Went to the track last weekend and the truck ran well, I've removed the Castle combo and put a hobbywing system in now and I'm going to lighten the shock oil, I think I might even need lighter springs and sway bars. The diffs need to go lighter too. It's winter here and the track is very bumpy and loose, we have trouble with extra bounce and the car was clearly bouncing around. It was superb of the jumps and it was a crowd favourite that's for sure.

It is straightened up for you now, though I can't get the esc straight due to the chassis. I've got my diffs and shocks set for bash and the initial run was good. Did a quick speed test on 4s I got 64km/h 40mph on 6s I got 92km/h 57mph out the front of my house.

I love the way this truck jumps and it likes to land on it's wheels somehow?

I'll try and put together the video footage from the testing.

I fitted this old bumper I had lying around after the run, but I'm hoping to get out for a proper session tomorrow.

I fitted a 22t pinion so I can see how quick that will be tomorrow. I want to avoid 6s as much as I can, hopefully this will get me the speed I want on 4s.

Fitted the aluminum swaybar collars today also, man the car is filthy, I tried to give it a clean, but it's still got dirt everywhere 😃.
