Hey... This is my first post so bear with me... I have an mt410 original with lots of upgrades. Anyway... The issue that I'm having is that I keep stripping my diff pinions (both front and rear). I've tried shimming the diff and the diff pinion. Still happening. I've replaced the diff case and bearings multiple times. Still happening. I run a castle Mamba monster X with a castle 1515-2200kv motor. I generally run with a 4s. I have the stock spur gear with a 15t pinion. Badlands tires. I also have m2c diffs (front, rear and middle) with upgraded innards. I run 100,000 center, 80,000 rear with 30,000 front fluid. I've dropped my braking power down to 10% (that seems to make them last a little longer) but I shouldn't need to do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I run the same setup but with backflip LP's and never had any issues except running into stationary objects.
If you've shimmed the only thing I can think of is the bulkhead flexing. Maybe there's a small crack that's not visible that's opening up under load. Are you maybe jumping and landing on power?

@nub thanks for the response... I've replaced the bulkhead multiple times. I also replaced the bearings. Yea... Once the pinion shreds it takes out both. No big jumps. Unfortunately I don't have access to anything like that. The most recent failure happened while playing around in the snow.

When you went in to check things out, did the diff coupler set screw loosen up at all?

How is the wear pattern? You might need additional shims to push the pinion in close to the ring gear, and shim the sides of the diff to move it away from the pinion gear, for better gear mesh.
My issue is keeping the pinion bearings from coming out of the diff housing, so i replaced the plastic housing with aluminum. With the bearings popping out it was creating damage to the pinion gear, since my backlash and therefore mesh was thrown off. Problem solved for now.
