Will a Hobbywing XR8 plus fit in the sct410?

Yes, BUT if you want a bigger motor you have to change the motor mount plate. SCT 410 is designed for racing and the class had a limit on motor size, I believe. Put bigger motors in our SCT410, same as in our MT410, after track closed. Made a small back yard basher. Turns and handle nice in smaller spaces. Great ramp and air control is easy. With the standard SCT motor it was boring in back yard. Not now!

The kit motor mount plate is for smaller motors with smaller spacing on mount holes. Takes the MT410 mount plate for the larger motor.
