Oktay's RC SCT/ MT410 2.0 Upgrades

***Before you dive in, make sure to join the newly created MT410 2.0 Facebook group.***

I don't have to convince anyone that we live in tough times, but moments like this prove good people still exist. Thanks to a quietly noble hobbyist who volunteered his time to help me source parts from the EU that are impossible to get in the U.S., I finally have these on my bench! Pictured below are parts manufactured by Oktay's RC/ Oktay's Bumper & More which are designed as upgrades for the MT410 2.0 (and a few other optional parts for good measure).

Notes:
  • A few of the parts shown are cross-compatible with the SCT410 2.0
  • The parts below do not represent every part for the MT410 2.0 that is available*
  • I am not affiliated with Oktay's RC in any way shape or form other than struggling to buy his parts from the U.S.!
*You can explore additional MT410 2.0 upgrade parts made by Oktay's RC as reviewed by ChriswithaC RC on YouTube.

MT410 2.0 Center Chassis Brace, 7075-T6 CNC Machined Aluminum
This will especially come in handy as I bent the chassis on my MT410 2.0.

MT/ SCT410 2.0 Front Shock Tower, 7075-T6 CNC Machined Aluminum
With these shock towers installed I plan to install Tekno's "A" and "C" length 16mm bore shocks. These shocks were included with the SCT410.3 kit.

MT/ SCT410 2.0 Rear Shock Tower, 7075-T6 CNC Machined Aluminum
If these shock towers are tall enough, they may be a viable option to use on a SCT48 paired with Tekno's newly released "B" and "D" shock lengths.

MT410, ET48.3, EB48.4 Center Diff Housing
Not a part specifically manufactured for the MT410 2.0; however, I picked up this T6-7075 diff housing as a spare for my "OG" MT410. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe the previous generation differential cups are compatible with the newer generation 1/8 scale platforms, if the differential cup is used for the center diff. I'm fairly confident that I utilized the AllRacing T6-7075 center differential housing made for the EB/ET48 2.0 on my MT410 2.0, but I'll have to check to be sure.

I am running the M2C Racing Ultimate Motor Mount (PN M2C 7017) and I do believe the 1/8 differential housing is simply larger in diameter than that of the 1/10 differential housing, and therefore, a similar width, which is the reason it's cross-compatible if used for the center differential. Someone fact check me, please.

MT/ SCT410 2.0 Motor & Center Differential Mount Assembly, Rear Plate, 7075-T6 CNC Machined Aluminum
The MT/ SCT410 2.0 features a two-piece Motor & Center Differential Mount Assembly. The motor is fastened to the front plate, which is made of 7075-T6 aluminum. The rear plate in both the MT/ SC kit is plastic. While I already have the M2C all-aluminum motor mount system for my MT410 2.0, I decided to pick up the rear aluminum plate for my SCT410 2.0.

This top plate also fits the MT48 2.0.

MT/ SCT410 2.0 3D Printed Shock Cap Protectors
These are not made by Oktay's RC. They are instead made by JS Parts, a manufacturer specialized in 3d printed parts for various brands.

MT/ SCT410 2.0 3D Printed Body Posts
These are also made by JS Parts, and please for the love of country, will someone print and sell a similar product here in the States? If there is a retailer or solo hobbyist making a few bucks on the side by selling a similar product, please do let me know in the comments below. We could really use longer posts—especially for the SCT48.

Side note: A member of the Arrma Forum stating how surprised he was with regard to the lack of support the MT410 2.0 has received from the aftermarket. Widely considered the preeminent name in hardcore durability, M2C Racing surprisingly didn't dive as deep into aftermarket upgrades for the MT410 2.0 as many of us hoped. That said, it is my hypothesis their true "bread and butter" that accounts for the majority if their revenue and growth is derived from Arrma upgrades.

I believe Avery is simply choosing to stay focused on opportunities that produce the most revenue with the least amount of effort—and that's fine by me. He's a small business owner. It's a family business. The U.S. economy isn't doing so hot at the moment, and it's a smart business practice to shore up your core sources of revenue to weather the current and/or pending storm.

Consumer economic sentiment in October 2026 is tracking near an all-time historical low, and multiple major indicators show that Americans are now more disgruntled and financially squeezed than they were during the peak of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. This creates downward pressure on small businesses—and especially, small manufacturers that require specialized labor who make products that are in direct competition with less expensive product alternatives from China.

Economics aside, if any of y'all would like me to put together a list of other upgrade parts (or paths) that I have uncovered for the MT/ SCT410 2.0 please drop a comment below and I'll write a part two follow up to this post. I should be able to put a list together and have it published "in two weeks." That's an inside joke. If you know, you know.

Oh, and if you haven't had the opportunity to check out my SCT48 build thread, please do. Feel free to drop a comment or a like, too!

P.S. if you end up following ChriswithaC RC on YouTube, or join his Facebook group, Rc Buddys v2, let him know that do me a favor and tell him 'the DM nuisance' sent you. Just trying to earn that buddy status, Chris!
