MT48 ESC and Motor combo recommendations for a total noob

Good day,

As stated I'm totally new to all this electric stuff as I raced nitro 20 years ago. Just recently got interested in bashing around my yard for fun and was looking at all the new washers TRX, Kraton, Sledge, etc. when I saw a video from DoRC building the MT48.
So
I just bought this kit and need recommendations on ESC/motor and batteries if y'all don't mind
I think I want to go 4s as it seems plenty for this rig but like I said I'm a total noob and open to all suggestions....water resistant/proof is pretty important too because we do get a snow or 2 where I live.

Went with Castle 1515 2200kv/Mamba Monster X esc combo and CNHL 6600 4S 120c hard pack as recommended by Tekno. All fits perfectly in chassis. Plenty of torque and power for 4S for general bashing.

I haven't, but looking at the space behind my Quicrun 4274, the 4278 will slip right in!

I don't see the EZRun motor being the problem. It's the Max8 G2S that may have you scratching your head.

This is an option for the ESC. I bought one but haven't tried it. Funky looking on it's side but it's quite thick and chunky..
