WOW! I finally got to run my EB48.4 today. Went to the track in Foley but there was standing water inches deep everywhere and slick mud. I really didn't want to risk maybe shorting something or at the least spending two days cleaning up a mud monster. So I put on some used but still knobby tires and out front in the street we went. Holy smokes I was NOT ready for how fast it is! Going to estimate 35-40 mph. Corners well, drifts well, stops on a dime. This is all in the street of course so I do realize it will be different at the track. It's mostly stock with Lunsford titanium turnbuckles, ceramic bearings on the pinions, ABEC5 bearings everywhere else. I'm running a HW XR8 Pro G2, HW 4268 2200kv G3, NitroPro FK-N500FST servo. Steering is very quick and acceleration is extreme. What a beast! It tracks straight and true and coming in hot I can hit the brakes, flip a 180 and tear back the same way in a u-turn less than 2 feet wide. The only fan is on the esc and the motor barely got warm after two packs. Running Zeee 6000mah 130c 4s lipos. Was not ready for this! Going to storage charge my batteries, get it all cleaned up, re-lubed and re-oiled and sit on it until spring. Dang I can't wait till spring! I know it's not a fancy schmancy all shiny brand new 2.2 but it's mine and in my opinion it hella rips. Seems a 15T pinion is plenty for this monster. I have an OTA HW program module but couldn't get it to connect to my phone today so I have no idea where the esc is at, I just ran it. Can't wait until next year to get it in the dirt and learn how to drive! Tekno FTW!
