Trying the maintenance on the ET48 2.0. This is the first time I've attempted to disassemble and clean this machine.
It looks like the oil number for the differential and shocks are still the original ones, so I’d like to take this opportunity to change them.
Going forward, plan to deliberately use the Arrma BLX 185 ESC, which is no longer in production. I'm waiting to see how things go. because Spektrum products can't be exported outside the U.S. (Maybe it's time to use my eBay account, which I've neglected for so long? )
Shock standoffs do bend some times. I really need to buy some spares.
I tried to remove the bearing from the front axle (TKR8070). However, the 15x21x4 bearing (TKRBB15214) was seized to the axle and wouldn't come off easily.
I think it was probably due to rust. In the end, I filed it down and took my time removing it, but I had to sacrifice the axle with one bearing.
Would it have come off easily if I’d used a torch? Also, are there any preventive measures or solutions?
