I bet you could buy close to an inch if the posts were lowered. Probably not more than an inch and a quarter.
Thanks! That brings it line with other bodies i've seen. Might need some trimming the the front/rear bumpers and the wheel arches. How close is the fit to the side skirts, new Tekno's are wider than the .3 cars, but still narrow.

I'm running 4s Copperheads. It looks like even if you take into account some ballooning that trimming wouldn't be necessary. Maybe some on the bumpers to accommodate shocks, but the wheel arches should be good.

Nearly a perfect fit then?

What body posts are you using to fit the thick basher bodies?

I tried the Arrma Big Rock ones squared off to fit in the Tekno body mounts, but it broke in one sesh. Also tried the JS Parts 3D printed body posts, but they also broke in one sesh (too flexible and not durable

Hello, I hope I’m posting in the right place.
I was wondering if a truggy body, for example the ET48 body, could fit on the MT48?
I’d like to use my MT48 on the track as well with truggy tires (to avoid needing multiple cars), and it would also make it a bit more discreet on the track ;)
Has anyone already tried running a truggy body on the MT48?
Thanks in advance!

I’ve seen the J Concepts truggy Finisher body on the Kraton 1/8. It might fit on the MT48 2.0.

No, I didn’t buy a wing, but I’m hesitating because I’m not really sure about the advantages and disadvantages. I want to use the same car for both bashing and track driving this summer, and with that in mind I’m not sure if adding a wing is a good idea?

If you're planning to race competitively, the wing would give your rig added stability through the turns and in the air. But for regular track bashing, it is not really necessary.

Thanks for your reply. No, I’m not going to race the MT48 (I don’t even know if it fits in any category ;) ). If I really get into track racing, I’ll buy an ET48 or an EB48… But I’ll wait until I try it first.

I decided to go with the "Zombi killer" look. I think it works.

I’ve only seen one video on YT with this body on a MT48 2.0 even after nights of searching :) It was a Japanese video with this body with truggy tires on racing track..

To share, this the Pro-line 2017 Ford Raptor Body.

^^^ to be honest, I don't like the look of the body above. Looks like a Slash on steroids lol.

I have a Pro-line Jeep Gladiator body incoming :)

Hi! Can someone confirm that this Bug body will fit the MT48 2.0?

It will require SCT rear body mounts. The SCT body mounts require some modification to work. I have a rear one on my truck.
